Prior to Simbec-Orion he was VP Corporate Marketing at Almac Group, based in Northern Ireland, having previously headed-up ex-US marketing at Patheon.

Doug spent a significant period of his career at Quintiles, moving from BD through Corporate Development, starting their European Marketing Dept. and latterly being Global Marketing Director

Doug is Managing Director of Red Bird Marketing, a Marketing and Commercial Development Consultancy, which he started in 2010.
