Pharma Supply Chain Tech Digital Innovation Lead, GlaxoSmithKline

Previously he has led the Pharma 4.0 Digitalisation Program which transformed both the R&D and Commercial manufacturing supply chain as part of the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies team who were implementing GSK’s Manufacturing Technology Roadmap.

Patrick has spent over 25 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry, holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has held roles in R&D supply chain, Product Development and led GSK’s R&D Secondary Process Automation program.
Patrick is responsible for the Digitisation Lab located at GSK R&D Headquarters in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. This innovation centre is where technologies are sought from cross industry collaborators, incubated and industrialised. Patrick has led his team in development of new novel digital technologies, delivery of industrialised applications and the generation of a holistic digital factory transformation program for key GSK commercial factory’s.
