As the HealthTec Development lead at Science and Technology Facilities Council’s Harwell Campus Adrian is tasked with developing the health and life sciences ‘cluster’ of industrial, government, investor and academic stakeholders to help drive innovation, growth and global impact. He works with existing and new organisations to help direct the sector strategy, bring together new partnerships and attract inward investment to the region.

Career achievements:
• Built long standing industrial relationships as a Business Development Executive
• Successfully managed and developed teams of scientists and support staff for various projects on multiple global sites
• Board Director for an innovative drug discovery company
• Developed and promoted a variety of niche services to the pharmaceutical and agrochemical community and developed novel models to identify quality drug candidates
• Arranged and chaired international collaborative validation studies with leading companies
• Contributed to the acquisition of a competitor company and helped establish a new facility in Singapore
• Consistently maintained client and inter-departmental relationships and developed a reputation for providing quality data and reports in a timely manner and on budget
• Invited to present at the FDA and various international meetings
• Implemented a new account system to streamline longer term agreements and optimise efficiency
• Helped create and maintain a world leading brand
• Reviewer for the European Commission and several prominent scientific journals
• Ten peer reviewed journal publications, one patent and over thirty other publications. Authored two book chapters
