Founder, Gloucester Road Communications

Amanda creates communications campaigns for healthcare clients that deliver on the bottom line. As an ex-Fleet Street health journalist, she understands how to craft stories for her clients that get coverage. With 16 years’ high-level PR management experience, she works with clients on strategies to target the right media for maximum impact.

She co-founded healthcare specialist PR agency Hayhurst Media in 2004.
In 2009, the company was acquired by US-based healthcare and technology PR firm Schwartz Communications. Amanda was joint MD UK of Schwartz for nearly three years until Publicis Groupe bought Schwartz in 2011. Amanda decided to step down from a senior management role of Publicis’s flagship brand MSL early in 2012 and founded her own agency, Gloucester Road Communications (GRC), though she remained Senior Consultant of MSL Health until the following December when she left to concentrate on building up her own company.

Amanda continues to create campaigns and concepts in video, print and on social media that meet her clients’ business objectives.
