Chief Executive Officer, Form the Future CIC

Anne is CEO of Form the Future CIC, a social enterprise forging links between schools and employers. Their mission is to help young people as they move from education into employment, helping them see the broad range of careers open to them while helping employers plug their skills gaps.

Anne created Form the Future because she was concerned that schools weren’t connecting with the dynamic companies around Cambridge and that students weren’t seeing the opportunities on their doorstep. Anne is strongly committed to social mobility and improving outcomes for young people, particularly girls and other under-represented groups. She’s been a non-executive director of Papworth Hospital and the Eastern Academic Health Science Network. She Chairs the Cambridge Ahead Education & Skills committee and is a Governor at Cambridge Academy for Science & Technology. Born in Philadelphia, she graduated from Harvard and has now lived in the UK longer than she has in the USA.
