Since qualifying as a Pharmacist in 1995, Jagwant has driven improvements in both direct patient outcomes and healthcare business development, offering unique experience from across within the healthcare industry.
Between 1995 and 2005 Jagwant held various roles in Community Pharmacy and after gaining his supplementary prescribing qualification has worked with primary care practitioners to improve patient’s use of medication in line with local and national protocols.
Jag spent 10 years with LloydsPharmacy – a leading provider of pharmacy services in the UK – managing 30 community pharmacies across Berkshire and providing leadership to a group of over 300 employees. In 2009, Jagwant progressed to Business Development Manager for the LloydsPharmacy Healthcare Services across multiple venues of care. Subsequently his portfolio expanded to sit across LloydsPharmacy’s parent group, Celesio, developing solutions for several divisions.
Jagwant joined Cerner in 2016 and took up his current role as Senior Business Development Manager focusing on population health, working with various health and care organisations to help integrate their systems, and support their journey from reactive to proactive healthcare for their citizens.
