Director of Information and Involvement, Cancer Research UK

Jo has an academic background in Biology and Psychology followed by over 10 years experience in technology and digital transformation at Deloitte Consulting. She led large scale, complex change and transformational programmes across a range of public and private sector organisations. Since joining Cancer Research UK in 2016, she led a portfolio of strategic policy and information programmes across Cancer Prevention, Early Diagnosis and Treatment before taking on her most recent role.

Her current priorities are working with and for people affected by cancer; to provide trusted and personalised information, maximising the reach and impact of CRUK’s information services supported by robust and flexible technology; and to increase our work with people affected by cancer to influence, collaborate and co-create as a patient-centred organisation.
