Kasia Averall

Kasia Averall is Head of Cluster Development at the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult. She is responsible for shaping and delivering a strategic UK cell and gene therapy manufacturing cluster working with a variety of organisations to de-risk and speed up the establishment of approved cell and gene therapy manufacturing facilities.
Prior to this, Kasia was Head of Quality Assurance at the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, successfully delivering the fully licensed multi-product, multi-collaborator ATMP manufacturing facility in Stevenage, UK. She has considerable clinical and commercial GMP manufacturing experience over a range of dosage forms which she gained from her roles at Sanofi-Genzyme, Teva and Clovis Oncology.

Kasia holds a degree in Natural Sciences (Biological) from the University of Cambridge and is a pharmaceutical Qualified Person.
