LUCY FOLEY

Director of Biologics, CPI

Lucy joined the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) in September 2013 as Lead Biopharmaceutical Engineer and was part of the team responsible for the design and build of the organisation’s Darlington-based National Biologics Manufacturing Centre.

CPI, which is part of the Government’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult, works with partners to help bridge the gap between innovation and commercialisation.
Offering open-access, state-of-the-art facilities across the North-East of England, CPI supports SMEs, academia and large corporate organisations working in diverse markets, such as pharmaceuticals, speciality chemicals, food and drink, electronics and transport, to develop, prove and prototype inventions into next generation products and processes.

Its combination of innovation processes and outstanding scientific and technical expertise enables partners to take more products to market faster and at a lower cost.
