Head of Business Development, Juvabis AG

Dr Marc Creus is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years in R&D in the chemical and life-sciences in industry and academia. He currently serves as Head of Business Development at Juvabis AG, a clinical-stage biopharma startup in the field of anti-infectives. Marc has also been co-founder, Chief Scientific Officer and inventor of granted patents at a biotech startup company in the UK, where he learned the challenges, joys and opportunities of entrepreneurship. He has also helped to design and set-up different research laboratories and facilities, managing design, needs, budgets & cross-disciplinary teams. Marc and is an experienced fund-raiser, passionate communicator & expert in setting-up complex business collaborations, including recently federally-funded 12-year, 70 Million CHF research network on antibiotic-resistance in Switzerland, involving more than 20 laboratories and several industrial partners. He has a PhD in medical biochemistry from the University of Cambridge (UK).
