Project Director, York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC)

Michelle Green is a Project Director at York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) and has a Master’s degree (MSc) in Health Economics from the University of York. Michelle’s work at YHEC involves leading numerous economic evaluations of medical devices for public and private sector clients.

She is the Director of the YHEC External Assessment Centre, leading the work conducted by YHEC for NICE’s Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme. This includes the critique of clinical and economic evidence submitted on medical devices to the programme and pilot work around the health technology assessment of digital health technologies.

Michelle regularly carries out technical model reviews both internally and externally and teaches on YHEC’s in house and bespoke external training courses. She is a faculty member on the University of York’s “Evaluation of Medical Devices for Product Development and Health Technology Assessment” training course.
