SAMANTHA BRAMLEY

Samantha joined Roche as Director of Market Access & Reimbursement in 2019, reporting into the Global Sequencing Solutions’ business area. Roche is dedicated to advancing personalized healthcare by creating diagnostics and treatments tailored to individual genetic and disease pathways. As part of this mission, holistic offerings across Roche Diagnostics is unifying next-generation sequencing with the goal of making it routine: Sample in, result out. Learnings from COVID have seen Diagnostic/MedTech at the front and centre of the government and public eye. It has been recognized and understood the role Diagnostics can play and how industry can mobilize at speed ensuring rapid adoption.
Samantha has over fifteen years’ experience in the global life sciences and biotechnology industry, beginning her career as an Operating Department Practitioner within NHS England for over five years, working both inside and outside the NHS has allowed a greater sense of understanding and diplomacy. Samantha has held numerous roles including sales, management, marketing and business development within the UK and internationally. Her three clear strengths include; collaboration, willingness and knowledge and this has enabled her to successfully work towards many common goals. Whether creating internal partnerships between colleagues or departments, to larger partnerships between businesses, harnessing the strengths and abilities of others from different corners of the ecosystem is one of the most strategic ways for scaling innovation and to solving complex solutions.
Furthermore, Samantha is inspired and truly passionate about how the complexities and interdependencies that deliver successful outcomes will be critical to achieve patient centricity. As the industry moves to a patient-centric, value based care model, stakeholders across the consortium of care are focused on creating systems and solutions that put the patient at the forefront of decision making. This will require a shift in paradigm and alignment of priorities to achieve optimal market access and deliver outcomes that matter.
Samantha lives in Hampshire with her husband, two children and dogs. She enjoys walking, yoga, skiing and cooking!
