Business Manager, CHEATA (Centre for Healthcare Equipment and Technology Adoption),  Nottingham QMC

Sarah is the Business Manager at CHEATA (Centre for Healthcare Equipment and Technology Adoption) based at Nottingham’s QMC.

CHEATA offers a unique support service to clinical, academic and commercial med-tech developers to gather evidence for NHS adoption including device value propositions, health economics, clinical engagement and evaluation. She manages the day-to-day running of CHEATA and also leads on the client engagement with NICE.

Prior to joining CHEATA in 2016, Sarah was responsible for Healthcare and Medical Devices at Pera Technology. She has a PhD in Biochemistry and carried out post-doctoral research in inflammation biology at Oxford and Leicester Universities before spending over 10 years at AstraZeneca as an Experimental Pathologist in the Respiratory and Inflammation Therapy area.
