Francesca Gliubich

As Director of London Advanced Therapies, Francesca is responsible for leading the team and operations, driving the strategy and relationships with key stakeholders and funders. She joined us from Barts Charity, where she held the position of Director of Grants.

Previously, Francesca was Head of Strategic Development at the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, at Queen Mary University of London, having previously worked at other Universities and commercial companies in UK and overseas.

Francesca has a Master Degree in Industrial Chemistry and a PhD in Structural Biology. Following her PhD, Francesca was a Research Fellow in the Structural Biology Laboratory of Groningen University, having been awarded an EMBO Fellowship and a Marie Curie Fellowship.

Francesca is also a Trustee of the William Harvey Research Foundation.
