Fraser McBlane

Global Project Team Lead for Pharmacokinetic Sciences , Novartis

Fraser is the global project team lead for Pharmacokinetic Sciences support in Gene Therapies at Novartis. In this role, Fraser works in AAV gene therapy and gene editing projects at early research, advanced preclinical, clinical trial and post-marketing phases, contributing to development and submissions of novel therapies across multiple disease areas.

Working with multidisciplinary project teams, he is responsible for developing the strategy of and analysing the data from biodistribution and immunogenicity bioanalytical studies. Fraser has been with the NIBR research division of Novartis in Basel since 2011.

Prior to joining Novartis, Fraser was an academic research group leader, working in immunology and DNA repair, at the Basel Institute for Immunology and at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan.
