With over 17 years of working as a pharmaceutical research Bioscientist, supporting early stage drug discovery projects through to clinical trial and regulatory approval, Sonia is an experienced scientist. Working as AstraZeneca’s Global Cell Bank Lead for the previous 7 years of her career afforded Sonia a nuanced skill set in specialist cold chain storage and international logistics management, coupled with regulatory expertise. Together with Phil Hargreaves, Sonia’s co-founder, they established Cryoniss – a specialist company offering storage of biological samples and medicinal products from room temperature down to -196 °C. Offering a holistic service, they provide end-to-end cold chain management solutions for their customers.
