ANDERS VINTHER

Vice President, Quality, Kronos Bio

Anders joined Kronos Bio in June 2021 as Vice President of Quality. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, from small startups to large, global companies.

Prior to joining Kronos Bio, Anders co-founded and led quality and strategy and served as the EU Qualified Person at CMC Biologics (now AGC Biologics), a leading contract development and manufacturing organization. Over the course of five years, he grew the company to more than 200 employees and financial profitability before it was acquired by AGC Asahi Glass.

Anders has overseen and led quality functions at Novo Nordisk, Genentech, Roche and Sanofi, where his achievements include quality and cGMP compliance improvements, development and deployment of quality systems, culture change and employee career development. Notably, Anders co-led the design and implementation of the new global quality organization following Roche’s acquisition of Genentech.

Throughout his career, Anders has led various industry-wide initiatives related to quality, compliance and sustainable drug product supply to patients. Anders received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from The Technical University of Denmark.
