PharmaTech Integrates 2024 Venues

For 2024, we will once again be running sessions for our two agenda tracks from two venues, CPI’s Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) and the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS).

The Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC)

The Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre was created by CPI to develop, prove and commercialise disruptive technologies for the pharmaceutical industry.

National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS)

Opened in June 2023, the flagship world-class NMIS building, at the heart of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland, is a magnet for advanced manufacturing in Scotland and across the globe.

The distinctive heather-coloured, 11,500m² operationally carbon neutral campus next to Glasgow Airport home to the NMIS Manufacturing Skills Academy, fully connected Digital Factory, and publicly accessible collaboration hub.

CPI’s Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) is located in the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS), adjacent to Glasgow Airport, at 1 Netherton Square, Paisley, Glasgow, PA3 2EF (note, this postcode may take you to the centre of Paisley).

National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) is located next door, at 3 Netherton Square, Paisley, Glasgow, PA3 2EF.

By train:

There are regular trains from Glasgow Central Station to Paisley Gilmour Street Station. From here take a taxi of approx. 5 – 10 minutes to the AMIDS site.

By car:

There is free onsite car parking at MMIC only.
Driving Directions: From M8 motorway both west and eastbound, exit at junction 28 for Glasgow Airport, this will take you onto Sanderling Road. At the roundabout take the second exit.
You will approach a second roundabout, take the first exit onto Abbotsinch Road. Then at the first roundabout, take the second exit, continue straight and you will approach a T junction, turn right, and the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre will be on your right hand side.
