CANCER RESEARCH UK

Cancer Research UK is the world’s largest independent funder of oncology research, investing over £450m per year into basic biology, translational and clinical cancer research. In addition to its therapeutic activities, the charity is increasingly focussing its efforts on the development of new diagnostics, medical devices and data/software/AI-driven approaches to detect, diagnose and treat cancer earlier and more effectively.

CRUK’s Policy and Information team look to build the evidence and drive policies around the adoption and use of new diagnostic approaches within the healthcare system, whilst our Commercial Partnerships team aims to translate and commercialise new technologies to achieve maximum patient benefit. We have a strong track record of partnership with industry and are keen to capitalise on these aims to ensure new medical technologies have the best possible chance of reaching the clinic.
