Dai Hayward MBE

Dai graduated in Chemistry and Physiology, has an MBA, and is a Fellow of the UK’s Royal Society of Chemistry.  Dai’s career has been spent in chemistry and biology related businesses.  He has been Awarded the Commercial Development & Marketing Association (USA) Golden C Award for professional excellence in commercial development.  As a past Chairman of the UK Chemical Industry Association’s Responsible Care Board, a consistent theme has been to achieve more with less while increasing shareholder value.  In Micropore Technologies Dai has found a real opportunity to continue to deliver against this theme.

Dai has been CEO of Micropore since 2009 and has led the development of the transition of a lab-based technology to a growing global business offering improved product performance and manufacturing economics to product formulators.  He is excited to lead the adoption of this proven technology to enable robust manufacture of complex drug delivery systems and particularly LNPs, liposomes and bioresorbable microspheres.
