Medical Director, Bodyport

Dr. Daniel Yazdi formally joined Bodyport as the Medical Director in 2020. Dr. Yazdi conducted research with Bodyport prior to this while at Brigham and Women’s Hospital & Harvard Medical School, investigating how the scale performs against gold-standard measures of cardiac perfusion. As the medical director, he is helping study how biomarkers from the scale can help predict worsening heart failure status. In addition to biomarker research, he is helping build Bodyport’s care delivery system with the aim to provide a seamless patient and provider experience. Dr. Yazdi currently practices clinical medicine at UCSF, caring for advanced heart failure patients.
