Leader of Manufacturing, Vaccines Task Force

Ian has been leading manufacturing for the Vaccines Task Force since it was formed in May 2020. Before that he lead an Industry advisory Group formed by the BioIndustry association . He is a pharmacist by training and has more than 35 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and Supply Chain recently retiring as Senior Vice President Global supply GSK. He is currently Chairman of Roslin CT and contract cell therapy development and manufacturing company in Edinburgh, he also Chairs the Manufacturing Advisory Board for UKRI Life Science Challenge Project.
