JACKIE MACRITCHIE

Head of Early Discovery, Charles River Laboratories

Within Charles River, Jackie is responsible for the Early Discovery organisation which provides a variety of drug discovery services to Biotech and Pharma companies, patient foundations and academic organisations. With more than 800 staff based at 7 sites across the UK, The Netherlands and Belgium, her role focuses on people and culture, as well as ensuring successful delivery of scientific projects. A medicinal chemist by training, Jackie has over 30 years’ experience, with more than 20 years concentrating on drug discovery within a CRO environment. Jackie obtained her degree and PhD at the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow.
