James Gregory joined RSA in 2021 with responsibility for the US & European Biotech practice. Leading the provision of all our Human Capital Services in this space, his Practice works in and around the Board and C-Suite as well as top level therapeutic, scientific & operational leaders.

James has over 20 years’ experience across Executive Search, Interim Management, Board Advisory, and Leadership Consulting including Leadership Development, Psychometric Evaluation, and Leadership Assessment.

During his career, James has worked with key business leadership teams across the UK/EU (particularly Switzerland where he lived for a time) and in recent years, North America.

He has worked with Mid-caps and Biotech’s of different sizes and ownership structures. His wide international experience enables him to bring new perspectives to client interactions, advising on succession planning, investor/IPO readiness and on-boarding senior and high potential future leaders.

James previously led the Life Science practice for a UK plc Search business, prior to that he led a multi-million turnover VC backed staffing business as its MD & CEO. His personal experience of fundraising via private equity businesses today forms part of his value proposition, bringing first-hand experience of the fundraising & investor relations journey as he advises boards and leadership teams who seek to grow and build-out their organisations.

As a Managing Partner and Practice Leader, James sits on RSAs Group Operating Board.
