JEAN-JACQUES ZAMBROWSKI

Jean-Jacques ZAMBROWSKI, MD, has been for 40 years a hospital physician, specialized in internal medicine (rare or complicated conditions), at the Bichat University Hospital (AP-HP, Paris) and Professor at the University of Paris Saclay.

His academic teaching and research activities focus on health policies, regulatory and economics, disciplines in which he trained, after his medical curriculum, first in France, at the Université Paris IX Dauphine (Master’s degree in economics and management) and Paris V (PhD in Computer Science and Applied Statistics), then in the United States, where he obtained a PhD (Health Policy and Health Economics).

Jean-Jacques ZAMBROWSKI is also Associate Professor and President of the Scientific Council of the University Institute of Therapeutic Education (Pierre and Marie Curie University / Sorbonne Universities).

He also teaches at various French and foreign universities in the fields of health regulatory and economics, focusing on the organization of health systems, their financing, access to care and innovation, as well as market access issues for health products and services.

The author of numerous books, publications and papers, Professor ZAMBROWSKI is also an advisor to French and European government authorities as well as to various institutional actors or companies in the health sector.

Prof. Jean-Jacques ZAMBROWSKI has been promoted Officer of the Legion of Honor and has been appointed Knight of the National Order of Merit.
