MATTHEW PRIME

Dr. Matt Prime is the Global Medical Director for Roche Diagnostic Information Solutions (DIS) based in Basel, Switzerland. He graduated from University College London in 2005 with a medical degree, and an intercalated degree in tumor biology. In 2013 he co-founded Open Medical and co-developed PathPointTM – a cloud-based care coordination system – now widely implemented across the NHS. In 2018 He was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London for work studying enablers and barriers to innovation in the UK health system. He spent 12 years in clinical practice in the UK before joining Roche in 2018. His current work focuses on developing and evaluating user-centred digital solutions for oncology.
