Chief Financial Officer, ReNeuron Group plc

Michael Hunt ACA is Chief Financial Officer at ReNeuron Group plc. Between 2005 and 2014 he served as its CEO, leading the business through its early development and IPO to its current position as one of the clinical-stage leaders in the cell therapy field. Prior to ReNeuron, Michael spent six years at Biocompatibles International plc where he held a number of senior financial and general management positions. His early industrial career was spent at Bunzl plc. Michael sits on the Board and Executive Committee of the US-based Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) and is a founding member and co-chair of ARM’s European Section. He sits on the UK BioIndustry Association’s Cell & Gene Therapy Advisory Committee and its Finance and Tax Advisory Committee and is a member of the Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult’s Advisory Panel. He read economics at University College London and qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young.
