I am a research group leader at the University of Oxford with interests in vaccine manufacturing and development of novel antibody-inducing vaccines. I have been one of six investigators leading the university’s COVID-19 vaccine development, with responsibility for the manufacturing scale-up programme. My pre-pandemic research centred on malaria and rabies vaccines. I previously worked as an NHS doctor.
