Challenge Director, UKRI Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund in Medicines Manufacturing

Sarah Goulding is Challenge Director for the UKRI Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund in Medicines Manufacturing (job share with Andy Jones).

Previously, Sarah was Head of Relationship Management and a specialist in medicines manufacturing at the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN). Sarah has 15 years of experience working with industry, academia and policy makers in cell and gene therapies, biologics and medicines manufacturing. Throughout her career to date Sarah has driven the formation of initiatives to enable collaboration and commercialisation that work across business, academia and policy makers in government and associated bodies such as bioProcessUK, the BioIndustry Association’s Cell and Gene Therapy Advisory Committee and the Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership.  

 In other roles, Sarah was Acting Director at the BioIndustry Association Scotland, and has a PhD in developmental biology.
