I am a chemical engineer and have been working in the field of pharmaceutical machines (oral dosage forms) for 22 years.
Since 2006, I have been developing concepts for innovative R&D tablet presses, including the legendary RoTab T, the RoTab Bilayer and, since 2015, the Futorque® with full containment for use in the compression of hormone and production of oncological preparations.
More than 120 machines have been sold worldwide through my kg-pharma, which was founded in 2006. Users include Bayer, Reckitt-Benckiser, Alkermes, Novartis and many other pharmaceutical companies.
Together with my core team René Manigk (CTO & Co-Founder) and Sebastian Aumer (Design&Communication), we have developed, patented and built the first PrivMed® ultra-compact tablet press in the last five years.
With PrivMed®, we are ushering in a new era of medication through tablets: Putting an end to the mass production of pharmaceuticals, to overdosing through shelf medication, to wasting valuable active pharmaceutical ingredients by throwing away unused tablets.
