Melissa Hanna-Brown

Melissa is based in Pfizer, Sandwich and is responsible for global co-ordination of Technology Strategy & External Partnerships Ecosystem for Pharmaceutical Sciences and represents Pfizer on a number of external organisations including on the Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership Leadership Team and in the EFPIA ICH Q2/Q14 Support team. Melissa is also UK co-chair for Pfizer Diversity Equity and Inclusion where the focus of the group is to make Pfizer UK ‘an amazing place to work FOR ALL’.

Melissa’s experience traverses academic, industry and third sector organisations including current external roles as Executive Chair of the Community for Analytical Measurement Science (an Industry Led Consortia with 20 university organisations and 16 industry partners) and as Professor of Chemistry, University of Warwick (Separation Science). She has also held numerous roles in the Royal Society of Chemistry including Council Member and President of the Analytical Division, and recently served as a UKRI REF Impact Assessor for Chemistry and Joint DHSC/UKRI Covid-19 Rapid Response Panel Expert .
