Mike Lyne

Translational Research Management Lead, NIHR Biomedical Research Centre

Mike leads the Translational Research Management at the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ and at King’s College London. Bringing over 20 years of experience within both industry and academia covering, among others, advanced cell therapy development, he manages several advanced cell therapy clinical programmes and provides strategic and portfolio advice to KCL’s researchers. Prior to this, Mike ran his own consultancy, specialising in drug repositioning and orphan drug development opportunities. He holds a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Exeter.
Mike has also played a major role in the success of London Advanced Therapies and UK Advanced Therapies, through the designing of several translational projects.
