Tina Worth has over 30 years of experience within the NHS and Department of Health as a Nurse, Midwife, Health Visitor, Specialist Nurse Prescriber, NHS Director of Nursing and Department of Health Regional Manager.
She moved into market development in the pharmaceutical industry, having undertaken an MBA whilst working at the UK Department of Health.
Tina is currently the International Infusion Solutions Medical Affairs Manager for Europe and the Middle East with Becton Dickinson. But she continues to work clinically in High-Dependency units and experienced first-hand the frontline during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. She also continues active membership of professional organisations in order to maintain full contact with the frontline of clinical care and healthcare management.
She holds an MSc in pain and palliative care, a specialism that is her passion, and one that she advocates for as part of the BD Medical Affairs BD vision to be a trusted and valued partner that provides scientifically sound and medically relevant insights to deliver innovative, safe, and efficacious solutions for patients and partners.
A life-long learner, Tina was also awarded a Master of Laws degree and is currently a PhD candidate with Portsmouth University.
Tina believes that real alliances between Medtech Medical Affairs, clinicians and patients have the potential to accelerate access to new devices and treatments and ensure that the right patient gets the right therapy at the right time.
